12-strand single braid, bio-based SK75 Dyneema fiber

Yellow Jacket 12 is a 12-strand single braid of bio-based Dyneema® SK75 UHMPE fiber enhanced with Yale's Maxijacket High Performance Coating. The specific color pattern allows for easier identification of twisting in the rope, which can lead to a decrease in its working strength. Built tough and designed for enhanced strength to meet the rugged demands of your application, Yellow Jacket 12 is also fully Berry Compliant; both the fiber and the finished rope are proudly made in the USA. Phantom-12 is a specially designed rope for stadium, theatre and set rigging comprised of high-heat-resistant Technora® lament fiber with a wrap of yarn of Yale’s Igrip fiber. The Technora® lament provides strength and high-heat resistance where the polyester over-wrap provides a soft hand.

8-strand plaited, UHMWPE

Larger plaited Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Brait. UHMWPE fiber is one of the strongest fibers known and is very low elongating. The geometry of the plaited UHMWPE allows more substantial dynamic loads to be imparted on the rope without compromising its longevity.

Technora® Aramid

YaleGrips are made from a Technora® Aramid fiber at braid and are assembled in a 4-leg configuration extending from a reinforcing, securing eye. The eye is covered entirely with an extra layer of braid, which is saturated with Maxijacket urethane, an abrasion-resistant coating for extended life.

Catch off grip for Unitrex stringing lines

An appropriately sized Tandem Stopper Assembly is the only recommended midspan termination technique for Unitrex. When properly configured, it is rated to the full working load of the underlying Unitrex. Other conventional termination devices / techniques have been demonstrated to cause an unacceptable amount of damage to Unitrex when tested.

Parallel core synthetic cable, UHMWPE from DSM core, neoprene tape, polyester sleeve

Unitrex XS Max Wear, Uniline's high-tech cousin, is a parallel-core rope of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), wrapped with a neoprene tape and over-braided with a tough jacket of high-tenacity polyester. The result is a synthetic cable, somewhat stiffer than your usual rope, which is much like wire in its stretch characteristics.
